This yard has an extreme slope towards the house, so all water comming down the hill will be directed at the house and foundation.  The first step would be to get some good vegitation to hold that hill together and to absorb as much water as possible.  Perhaps a nice retention pond or additional swales to direct the water away from the house itself.
