training for house inspection

How we hire and train our inspectors:

The House Inspection Team members start by working in a construction related trade to get real field experience building and repairing actual houses. We then build on this experience with formal classroom training to really dive into the details of a house and what to look for during the inspection process. After the classroom work, the candidate will follow an experienced inspector who already has performed over 250 inspections and can give direct personal training to supplement and build on what they have learned in the classroom. If all goes well, the last step is the State and National tests that take around four hours to complete and cover all the topics of a house and the inspection process.

By the time our team member is inspecting your home -- or a home you are considering for purchase -- they will have had a lot of experience and traing under their belt.
